Our Mission

Pastor PJ and his family were called to Corey Church in April of 2019. He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has served as a youth pastor, senior pastor, and jail minister. Pastor PJ is passionate about knowing and following Jesus, and helping others do the same. 

Pastor Emily and husband, James have been at Corey Church since the summer of 2020. She is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has served as youth/children's pastor, co-pastor and associate pastor. She cares deeply about seeking Jesus and helping others to do the same. 

What are you expecting out of church? Have you ever asked yourself that? 

Are you expecting to show up and be filled? Are you hoping to experience God? Are you looking at it as a social hour? 

What you get out of church depends on your heart towards God. If you’re seeking God you will find him, whether you’re at church or at home. 

Here’s what you can expect from us at Corey church...

A warm building, a friendly atmosphere, people who are welcoming and happy to see you and wanting to know you. People who are in pursuit of God. And an opportunity to get connected through Sunday school and Wednesday night prayer meeting. 

We don’t have flashing lights, a full rock band, and a cafe in our church. 

But what we DO have is beautiful Christ focused songs, the Spirit of God present, and a people with a desire to know and serve God.
